Before You Hire

Typical turnaround is 1–4 weeks, with rush work sometimes available. Ask:

Can I get a written quote with material, labor, finish and delivery listed separately?
What do you need from me: drawing, sketch, photos or measurements?
Are your welders certified, for example to an AWS code, for this kind of work?
What is your shop rate and your minimum charge?
What is the lead time, and what could delay it?

Tips

Setup is often most of the cost of one part, so per-piece prices fall quickly with quantity.
Ask for the tightest tolerance you truly need; tighter costs more.

Getting several quotes? Line them up in the quote comparison tool and read what to check on an estimate before you approve work.
